With their sights set on bringing a championship back to Long Island, MSC's USL Y BU17 (2008) side is heading to Tampa Bay, Florida for the USL Y Finals. The national championship, which will be held at Hillsbourough County's Tournament Sportsplex, kicks off on Friday .
Group play elimination will be Dec 13-15th (see MSC's group play schedule below), with advancing teams moving onto Monday's Semi-Finals. National Championship matches will take place on Tuesday, December 17th.
The 2008's will be representing USL Y's North Atlantic Conference, receiving their bid based on Summer '24 Conference play. They will be the 10th MSC team to participate at the USL Y Finals in the past four years.

Faced with a must win Home/Away weekend set against always tough Ironbound SC, MSC's BU17 (2008) side secured a berth to the 2024 Electrolit USL Youth Finals on the final weekend of qualifying league play.
Sitting in 3rd position in the division table heading into the weekend, MSC secured 2nd place and a nationals berth with a 3-1 win on Saturday August 17th (at Ironbound Newark, NJ) followed by a convincing 4-1 victory on home turf the next day. Coach Mega's side now moves on to the Nationals which will be in held in Tampa, Florida from December 13th - 17th. They become the 10th MSC side to qualify for this prestigious national championship in the past four years.
Although their (2014) Age Group does not offer nationals qualifying, the MSC BU11 Maroon were recognized by USL Y as Nortth Atlantic Group C Champions. Finishing with a 5-2-1 record, along with a +17 Goal Differential, they bested rival LIJSL Academy 3-2 and 4-3 in their two matches to take 1st place. Congratulations to Coach Danny Longo and the lads!
